OVERVIEW
Used in conjunction with SS 146 : Part 1 : 1994. Deals with the safety of electrical appliances for the care of skin or hair of person or animals and intended for household and similar purposes. Examples of appliances within the scope of this standard are : hairdryers; hand-dryers; curling irons; curling combs and facial saunas.
