Specifies the requirements for the design, construction, installation, testing and commissioning and maintenance of a pneumatic waste conveyance system (PWCS) that serves gravity chutes for general waste and recyclables generated from residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Covers the specifications and performance of the feeding and discharge system, conveyance system and collection station. Excludes the requirements for waste collection vehicles and driveway design.
