OVERVIEW

Specifies the test method for determining the chloride, carbon dioxide and alkali contents of cement. Applies to cements and also to their constituent materials, such a clinker and blastfurnace slag.

This standard is expected to be withdrawn by 2011. Users are advised to refer to BS EN 196
