Code of practice for meter verification using master mass flow meter (TR 80:2020)
OVERVIEW
This standard covers the criteria and metrological requirements to qualify for a master meter and the maintenance of its master meter status. It also covers the requirements and procedures for meter verification using a master mass flow meter to verify and check the stability and performance of a duty meter installed on a bunker tanker or at a terminal.
The standard is reviewed with the intention to revise and elevate this Technical Reference to a Singapore Standard.
Users of the standard include bunker suppliers, bunker craft operators, TIC bodies, oil terminals, vendors of Coriolis mass flow meters, surveyors, shipowners/buyers and relevant government agencies.
