This Singapore Standard provides guidance on the designs and improvements of the home environment to make the home safe and comfortable for older persons. In particular, it addresses the design and adaptation of specific areas within the home to accommodate ageing-in-place. It may also be applicable to younger people with degenerative conditions. The contents of this standard will be relevant to housing developers, architects, interior designers, renovation contractors, home owners and caregivers in creating an age-friendly living environment. |

This standard applies to a ready-for-use, air drying emulsion, flat finish for interior walls and ceilings, applied on masonry surfaces including concrete, bricks, stucco, concrete block, cement sheets sidings, skimmed coats, plastered walls, and dry wall boards.
The recoating of previously painted surfaces which are in a sound condition and suitable for receiving such a coating is also covered by this standard. |

Code of practice for the storage of flammable liquids |
This Singapore Standard sets out the requirements and recommendations for the safe storage and handling of flammable liquids, as classified in the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), listed in the Chapter of Flammable Liquids. The standard covers flammable liquids of Category 1, 2, 3 and 4 as classified in the GHS.
In addition, the standard also covers liquids with a flash point of up to 150 °C. |
