Code of practice for ammonia bunkering – Part 1: General introduction
OVERVIEW
This TR provides the list of terms and definitions for this TR series and an introduction to the characteristics of ammonia.
This TR is applicable to bunkering of both seagoing and inland trading vessels. It covers ship-to-ship ammonia transfer from bunker vessels to receiving vessels. The ammonia bunker carriage condition is refrigerated at atmospheric pressure at the time of bunkering.
