OVERVIEW
This document specifies the minimum requirements, construction, performance and type testing for gyro-compasses for high-speed craft, which are required to comply with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) 1974 (as amended), Chapter X and the performance standards adopted by the IMO Resolution A.821(19).
