Animal and vegetable fats and oils — Determination of ultraviolet absorbance

OVERVIEW

The principle of the method is spectrometric measurement, in a specified ultraviolet wavelength range, of the absorbance of a sample in solution, and calculation of the absorbance at a concentration of 1 g per 100 ml.
