Asset management – Guidance on the management of data assets
OVERVIEW
This Singapore Standard gives guidance on managing data to support an organisation in meeting its asset management objectives and by extension its organisational objectives.
It is applicable to any organisation, regardless of its type or size.
It does not provide:
– methodologies to derive or appraise value for data assets;
– methodologies to derive financial values for data assets; or
– direction to organisations on the need (or not) for calculating financial values for asset data.
