OVERVIEW
Specific requirements for the design, selection and erection of electrical installations in explosive gas atmospheres. It is to be used in addition to the requirements of SS CP 5 – “Code of practice for electrical installations” for installations in non-hazardous areas. It applies to all electrical equipment and installations in hazardous areas whether permanent, temporary, portable, transportable or hand-held. It is intended for installations at all voltages.
