OVERVIEW
This part of ISO 15698 specifies test methods applicable to headed steel bars to be used as reinforcement of
concrete structures.
This part of ISO 15698 is intended to be applicable in relation to the various reinforced concrete design
standards, as well as in relation to the various standards for steel reinforcing bars.
Testing of headed bars under impact loading is outside the scope of this part of ISO 15698.
