Specification for water-based acrylic road marking paint (SS 624:2016)
OVERVIEW
This standard applies to paint for water-based acrylic binder formulated to adhere to bituminous surfaces, concrete as well as other surfaces commonly used in driveways and car parks, such as interlocking concrete paving blocks.
The water-based acrylic road marking paint is available in white, yellow, red, black and blue colour.
It does not cover retroreflective road marking paints.
The standard is reviewed with the intention to update it in line with latest industry practices and expand its application scope.
Users of the standard include paint manufacturers, suppliers, test laboratories, contractors, applicators, architectural associations, consultants, facilities/property managers, building surveyors and relevant government agencies.
