Code of practice for scaffolds (Replaces CP 14 : 1996)
OVERVIEW
Sets out the general provisions relating to the erection and use of scaffolds in workplaces across various industries, such as, but not limited to, construction, marine, process industries, landscaping, manufacturing, commercial facilities management, repair and demolition.
Does not include:
a) Platform suspended by ropes, whether fixed or movable i.e. boatswain chair;
b) Power-operated platforms such as suspended scaffolds;
c) Timber scaffolds;
d) Formwork supports; and
e) Scaffolds used for material loading.
