Code of practice for suspended scaffolds (Replaced by SS 598)

OVERVIEW

Provides a set of criteria for the evaluation of the adequacy of suspended scaffolds used in Singapore. The principal function of a suspended scaffold is to provide a safe means of access for workers carrying out work at height, as well as to provide a secure foothold. Therefore, the design criteria are formulated primarily with the safety of personnel in mind.
