Textile floor coverings — Hand-knotted carpets — Determination of tuft leg length above the woven ground
OVERVIEW
Applicable to all hand-knotted carpets with pile capable of being shorn from the woven ground. Not applicable to carpets of different tuft leg lengths, unless the areas can be measured separately. Is applicable to carpets in which the knots are tied by finger or by hook.
