Test method for polymers in residual based marine fuels
OVERVIEW
This TR covers the qualitative determination of polystyrene, polypropylene, and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in residual petroleum product. It also specifies the method detection limits of the three polymers in the residual petroleum product according to the test method and requirements. This method is designed to be applicable to residual based marine fuel commonly used in the shipping industry.
