OVERVIEW
Used in conjunction with SS 146 : Part 1 : 1994.
Applies to the safety of air-conditioners, electrical heat pumps and dehumidifiers incorporating sealed motor-compressors, their maximum rated voltages being not more than 250 V for single phase appliances and 600 V for all other appliances.
