Code of practice for the design and management of aquatic facilities

OVERVIEW

This standard specifies the general requirements for the design, construction, installation of equipment, operation, management and maintenance of aquatic facilities in Singapore. It is intended to ensure the safety, well-being and recreational benefits of facility users, as well as personnel who may become involved in the aforementioned aspects of design, construction, installation of equipment, operation, management and maintenance of the aquatic facilities.

Special care is required in applying this standard alone to equipment for which no product specific standard has yet to be published.

For aquatic facilities in landed homes, the owner may decide on appropriate requirements to adopt.
