OVERVIEW
Applies to the design, construction, installation, testing, inspection, operation and maintenance of permanently installed new electric lifts, with traction or positive drive, serving defined landing levels, having a car designed for the transportation of persons or persons and goods, suspended by ropes or chains and moving between guide rails inclined not more than 15o to the vertical.
COMMENTS
This standard is expected to be withdrawn on 1 July 2010. Users are advised to use SS 550 : 2009 which replaces CP 2
