Code of practice for construction computer-aided design – Part 4: CAD drafting conventions
OVERVIEW
The scope of this code is to recommend a set of drawing conventions to be used by all parties in the building industry in the preparation of drawings. The objectives of this code are:
• To provide a set of common drafting conventions for the building industry.
• To facilitate a common understanding and interpretation of information in drawings by different users of the building industry.
• To facilitate easy and efficient exchange of information.
COMMENTS
This standard was first published in 2001. It was confirmed in 2015, 2020 and 2026 (with amendments). Amendments can be obtained from the Singapore Standards eShop.
