Ropes and cordage — Netting yarns — Determination of change in length after immersion in water
OVERVIEW
Immersion in water, at a given temperature, of a length of netting yarn on which two marks have been made at a prescribed distance apart. Measurement of the change in length between the two marks. Apparatus for determining the change in length is described by means of a figure.
