Code of practice for demolition
OVERVIEW
This Singapore Standard gives requirements and recommendations for the safe demolition of buildings and structures. It also addresses environmental factors arising from demolition activities.
This standard covers the following areas:
(a) Development of the demolition plan and stability report;
(b) Proper and effective management of the demolition process;
(c) Maintaining structural stability, through the provision of temporary structural supports, where necessary;
(d) Managing deliberate collapse.
