OVERVIEW
This Technical Reference (TR) utlines the requirements and offers guidance to enable organisations to improve their environmental performance and progress towards sustainability excellence in their business operations.
The TR addresses the management of environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy consumption, water consumption, and material consumption, across an organisation's governance, operations, supply network and product life cycle. The TR can be used by organisations of all sizes and all industry sectors. The TR does not address the social and governance pillars of sustainability.
