Specification for maintenance process modification in a rapid transit system
OVERVIEW
This standard covers modifications to maintenance processes and tasks performed on a rapid transit system (RTS). It is applicable to maintenance processes and tasks that are owned by the applicant or approver. This includes maintenance processes and tasks which are carried out by the public transport operator (PTO) or outsourced maintenance entity.
This standard does not cover the process of introducing new maintenance processes and tasks due to the introduction of new operating and/or infrastructure assets into the RTS.
