Code of practice for tofu and related products

OVERVIEW

Recommends general hygienic practices for use in the manufacturing and handling of tofu products for human consumption, including processing, packaging, storage, transport, distribution and sale, to ensure a safe, sound and wholesome product for the benefit of the consumers.
Applies to tofu products of all types and especially those which have been subjected to the process of pasteurisation and which are offered for sale in the chilled state.
